You are invited to attend San Rafael City Schools Community Budget Forums. Information about the Governor's State Budget proposal and its potential impact on San Rafael City Schools elementary and high school district budgets will be discussed. Flyers with information are below.

Very special evenings are being planned! Please come to our Mother & Son Fun Night on Friday, February 3 or our Father & Daughter Valentine's Dance on February 10! Both events will be from 6:30-8:30 pm. Print either of the sign-up forms below and return it with your check in your child's hip pocket. Proceeds benefit Glenwood PTA. JANUARY IS READ-A-THON MONTH!
January is Read-A-Thon month! During the month of January, we encourage all students to read (or be read to) as much as they can! Download the forms here to keep track of books or pages read (including any reading students do for homework) ask friends and family to sponsor them! All funds go to the PTA’s enrichment programs. Now let's get reading!
GSF CRAB FEED: JAN. 27, 6:00-11:30 PM, LOCH LOMOND YACHT CLUB (CHILDCARE AVAILABLE AT MOVIE NIGHT!)
This year’s third annual GSF Crab Feed promises to be a night filled with great food and great company. As always, all profits from the event benefit the Glenwood School Foundation, the nonprofit group that pays for science, PE, music, art and computer consultants for our kids. Space is limited, so RSVP now in the office or to Valoree Brovelli (valoreebrovelli@yahoo.com) or Michelle Torretto (mwilksm@aol.com) by January 23. Need childcare? GSF Movie Night is the same night!
SCHEDULE OF PARENT TOURS
Parents of incoming kindergarten students for the 2012-2013 school year are invited to attend a Principal’s Tour on any of the following dates:

Friday, May 4
Friday, June 1
Tours will commence at 8:45 am at the daily Morning Gathering on the playground, and then to the office for a meeting with the Principal followed by visits to some of our classrooms. No reservation is required. We look forward to meeting you!
